About Us
ISP Nursery and Kindergarten is a part of ISP School, which is located on beautiful Phuket Island, in the heart of Rawai, one of the island’s most family-friendly areas. We provide care for kids ages 2 through 6 and use the EYFS (Early Year Foundation Stage) Framework from the United Kingdom to support children in developing physically, cognitively and emotionally.

Eight Good Reasons

Why our school meets the needs of
your children and your family

Reasonable

Fees

International education at an affordable price with multiple payment plan options and low entry fees.

Small Community
School
We are a small school with a maximum capacity of 110 students only. The community spirit among pupils helps children to interact socially better and feel safe to try new things and discover new interests.
Adapted EYFS Curriculum
The EYFS framework was developed to help children become strong and self-assured. It stresses skilful communication and the development of a creative and imaginative mind and a happy and healthy body.
Small Class
Sizes
We have an average of 15 students per class. It allows our teachers to create personalized learning paths that suit each student’s unique personality, resulting in higher student achievement.
Low
Staff-Child Ratio
The Staff-Child Ratio is 5 students to 1 adult in the nursery and 8 students to 1 adult in the kindergarten. Low child-to-staff ratios help staff provide better supervision and care and provide children with more opportunities to develop social skills.
Play-based
Learning Approach
Play and, more importantly, learning through play is essential to the early year's foundation stage. As children move into the reception year, a greater emphasis is placed on learning skills that will support and prepare children for the learning expectations in year one.
Eco-Friendly
Learning Approach
At ISP, we are helping our youngest generation to be good global citizens. We aim to instil a passion and love of our planet within our students through upcycling materials for craft projects or growing veggies on-site. It gives littlies a sense of responsibility and helps them understand everyone’s role as custodians of this planet.
Healthy and
Balanced Food
At ISP Nursery and Kindergarten, we offer all our students three healthy meals per day prepared by our expert culinary team. A balanced diet is essential for good health and directly influences the organism's proper development, especially in such a critical growth phase.

We use the EYFS (Early Year Foundation Stage) curriculum that places a strong focus on three prime areas of learning - communication and language, physical development, and personal, social, and emotional development - which are critical for the development of young children and are fundamental to more structured learning as they get older.

Communication
and Language
As children develop speaking and listening skills, they build the foundations for literacy and learning. Plus, they're learning critical skills like how to express themselves and make friends.
Physical Development
Physical development consists of two elements: Gross Motor Skills and Fine Motor Skills. Gross motor skills provide the foundation for developing healthy bodies and social and emotional well-being. Fine motor control and precision helps with hand-eye co-ordination, which is later linked to early literacy.
Personal, Social, and Emotional Development
PSED supports children in learning to get on with others and make friends, understand and talk about feelings, learn about 'right' and 'wrong', develop independence, and ultimately feel good about themselves.

Other essential areas of learning and development:

Literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and expressive arts and design are the specific areas of learning and development in EYFS. It is through these areas that the prime areas are further applied and strengthened.
Literacy
To be ready to start reading and writing, children must have various skills. These early reading and writing skills include matching, rhyming, awareness of phonics and the skills associated with language development, such as listening, attention, alliteration and sound discrimination, and gross motor skills for controlling the muscles in their hands.
Math
There's more to maths than counting! We all use maths skills in our daily lives. Children learn about maths through play and their daily experiences. They should be able to count confidently, develop a deep understanding of the numbers to 10, the relationships between them and the patterns within those numbers.
Understanding the World
Understanding the World involves guiding children to make sense of their physical world and their community through opportunities to explore, observe and find out about people, places, technology, and the environment. They learn to make observations of animals and plants, explain why some things occur, and talk about how and why things change.
Expressive Arts and design
Children need regular opportunities to engage with the arts, enabling them to explore and play with various media and materials. The variety of what children see, hear and participate in are crucial for developing their understanding, self-expression, vocabulary and ability to communicate through the arts.
